The modular kitchen industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the country. A lot of new age companies have ventured into this market, but sadly a lot of old school models are still being practiced. One such practice is the “Authenticity of the Modular Kitchen Pricing”.
We at Würfel Küche practice FPP (Fair Price Policy), which means we follow a strong ethic in presenting a design and price to our clients. However, we have realized that this has not worked in our favour many times.
WHAT REALLY HAPPENS WHEN WE QUOTE A FAIR PRICE TO THE CLIENT?
We would not be able to give a big discount percentage to our clients as we have already quoted a fair price.
BUT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE CLIENT HEARS A FAIR PRICE?
Clients always want to feel like they have received heavy discounts, various brands are promoting the idea of high discounts to woo clients. This practice is unhealthy as we are forgetting to keep in mind the ethics behind pricing the products. The entire concept of providing a discount has come to inflating the actual or the true price of an item to a fake higher price and then claiming it to be discounted back to the actual price. This way, the client is under the impression that he got it for a cheap price and he is happy. When in reality the brand has made its sale. Hence, this fair price system that we would like to emphasize on is one that hasn’t penetrated the mainstream market ideology.
IS THIS LONG LIVED? ARE WE NOT A BRAND WITH ETHICS?
We strongly feel that it is the responsibility of the brand to organize the industry. We make this industry and we should practice ethics and ensure that we enforce Fair Price Policy. Even the garment industry has undergone a revolution with the brands organizing the same in the best possible way.
Hence, we at Würfel Küche have decided to be transparent and to speak clearly to our clients and work using the Fair Price Policy (FPP) model.
Our hope is that all brands should start considering the same and present the clients with a true price. We are responsible representatives of our industry and we are the ones who will make our clients feel that we are trustworthy and reliable.
This trust starts from the price we would quote to our clients!
