Blue: It’s a colour that is said to bring down blood pressure and lower the heartbeat, this is why this colour is considered to be calming and relaxing, it’s recommended for bedrooms and bathrooms. To encourage relaxation in social areas such as living room, consider brighter blue. Colour blue is known to have a calming effect when used as the main colour of the room. Avoid using dark blues in your main colour scheme.
Green: It’s considered a more restful colour for the eyes. Green colour combines the best qualities of blue and yellow, this colour can go in almost any room, including the kitchen! It has a calming effect and can be used in the main colour scheme. It is also known to reduce stress!
Orange: Orange increases excitement and is an energetic colour. It’s not a good idea to paint your living room or bedrooms this colour, but it’s a great colour for your gym room, as it will bring out a lot of emotions that need to be released while exercising. Purple: This is a rich and sophisticated colour. It represents luxury and creativity, as a secondary colour, it gives a colour scheme lot of details. Lighter versions of purple, such as lavender, bring the same restful quality to bedrooms as blue does, but without the risk of feeling chilly.
